Not what I expected

Guess this makes me stupid to think you would get cold water out of a fridge. The shelves cannot be moved like my old one (GE). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the refrigerator that came in my brand new home And within a week of Turning it on the icemaker would leak water everywhere and it’s constantly clicking like it wants to shut off and won’t. I would not have this refrigerator. If it didn’t come with my new home there’s no way I would buy.

Very Loud
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited 4 months for this refrigerator, because I wanted bisque to match the stove and dishwasher. It looks great. However, it is very loud. I can hear it out in my living room and down the hall. If I had been able to hear it before I bought it, I never would have. I am very disappointed. I also don't like that the ice maker takes up so much room. Yes, I have had a repairman out to look at it; he agreed it was loud but said there is nothing to be done about it. I've looked into acoustic panels, etc., but those appear to not have good results. Don't buy this model if sound is important to you!

Every feature we wanted and needed!

Whirlpool has always been at the top of our list but we wanted to search and compare. After numerous weeks of comparison we decided Whirlpool was the one and we certainly did make the right choice. Chances are we WON'T need to look around again!

Very happy with this overall.

The only minor negative comment I have is that the compressor is slightly, but noticeably, louder when running than most other refrigerators I've been around, including the previous Whirlpool I had in this same location.

Surprise!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator with urgency as my previous refrigerator literally died. I don't know if I would have picked this fridge if I had other options, but i am very happy that I ended up with it. Recently we lost power in my town for 39 hours and my milk didn't sour, my food in the freezer didn't spoil. The ice cubes and the ice cream weren't as lucky, but overall, the fridge was Awesome.

Still love it, but
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new refrigerator. I have a Whirlpool fridge that is in my garage and it is 32 years old. I use it for a second fridge. The new one is a little noisy and the placement of the filter is crazy, in my opinion. It is down at the very bottom and you have to open the freezer door to change it. May be a little difficult for an older person to change. Light in fridge is a little dimmer than the older one, and it doesn't have a drawer for cheese, lunch meat, etc.

Nice looking fridge!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually purchased this in December; it took thirty days to be delivered. Seems to be working okay although I really dislike NOT being able to control the temps closer than the settings allow. This unit is smaller than the one it replaced; runs fairly quiet although the icemaker is a bit noisy when it discharges cubes and refills to make more. Kind of hard to review an appliance that has only been in operation for three weeks
